Road Improvement Project (RIP), Contract No. 14: Feni-Chittagong Highway
section under RHD. The work consisted of rehabilitation of 10.27km road by
taking out old pavement including idening of existing embankment and constructing
improved sub-grade, brick aggregate sub-base, stone bases, penetration
macadam with Double Bituminous Surface Treatment (Chip sealing) and
construction of 3 box culverts, 3 pipe culverts and rehabilitation of 5 existing
structures. It was an ADB financed Project & executed in the year 1989-1992 at
the cost of Tk. 239.86 million.
2. FRIP 10
Feeder Roads Improvement Project (FRIP), Contract No. 10: Bhatkura-Basail
Road, Tangail under RHD. Construction of 9.91km road comprising embankment,
pavement, 185m Pre-stressed Concrete Girder Bridge on 160 nos 600mm
dia cast-in-situ bored Piles length of each 20-35m and 18 box culverts. It was an
ADB financed Project & executed in the year 1990-1993 at the cost of Tk. 165.75
million.

Jamuna Multipurpose Bridge Project (JMBP), Contract No. 7: Bhuapur, Tangail under Jamuna Multipurpose Bridge Authority. The work consisted of rehabilitation and construction of 8km flood protection embankment-cum-road, comprising of embankment, pavement and construction of 4 drainage structures. It was an IDA financed Project & executed in the year 1991-1993 at the cost of Tk. 215.64 million.

Feeder Roads Improvement Project (FRIP), Contract No. 11: Kishoreganj- Karimganj Road, Kishoreganj under RHD. Construction of 10km road comprising embankment, pavement including 11 box culverts, 9 pipe culverts and renovation of 6 box culverts and 1 pipe culvert. It was an ADB financed Project & executed in the year 1992-1994 at the cost of Tk. 73.88 million.

Feeder Roads Improvement Project (FRIP), Contract No. 12: Kishoreganj- Hossainpur Road, Kishoreganj under RHD. Construction of 12km road comprising embankment, pavement and box culverts. It was an ADB financed Project & executed in the year 1992-1994 at the cost of Tk. 86.65 million.

Road Improvement Project (RIP), Contract No. 8: Dohazari-Cox's Bazar Highway Section (Ramu-Cox's Bazar) under RHD. The work consisted of reconstruction of 16.34km road comprising widening and raising of embankment, pavement, construction of 1 Pre-stressed Concrete Girder Bridge and 1 RCC Girder Bridge on 42 nos 900mm dia cast-in-situ bored Piles length of each 18-30m, 38 box culverts and renovation of 5 box culverts. It was an ADB financed Project & executed in the year 1992-1995 at the cost of Tk. 460.32 million.
9. ROIP-7
Road Overlay and Improvement Project (ROIP), Contract No. 7: Dohazari-Cox's Bazar Section, (Eidgah-Ramu) under RHD. The work consisted of reconstruction of 14.50km road widening, raising of embankment, pavement and construction of 3 Pre-stressed Concrete Girder Bridges on 149 nos 900mm dia cast-insitu bored Piles length of each 18-30m, 12 box culverts, 21 pipe culverts and renovation of 3 box culverts. It was an ADB financed Project & executed in the year 1994-1997 at the cost of Tk. 393.06 million.
10. JBARP-5
Jamuna Bridge Access Roads Project (JBARP), Contract No. 5: Mirpur-Savar Road under RHD. The work consisted of improvement and rehabilitation of 14.40km long 4-lane road with widening and raising of embankment, pavement and construction of 5 Pre-stressed and RCC Girder Bridges of 4 lane on 484 nos 750mm dia cast-in-situ bored Piles length of each 15-30m, 3 box culverts and rehabilitation of 2 bridges. It was an ADB financed Project & executed in the year 1997-2000 at the cost of Tk. 1012.58 million.
11. JBARP-4
Jamuna Bridge Access Roads Project (JBARP), Contract No. 4: Nabinagar- Chandra Road under RHD. The Work consisted of improvement and rehabilitation of 15.85km long 2 lane road with widening and raising of embankment, pavement and construction of 23 box and pipe culverts and rehabilitation of 2 bridges and 1culvert. It was an ADB financed Project & executed in the year 1997-2000 at the cost of Tk. 421.52 million.
12. STJRIP-3
Sylhet-Tamabil-Jaflong Road Improvement Project (STJRIP) Contract No. 3: Janitapur to Tamabil-Jaflong Road under RHD. The work consisted of improvement and rehabilitation of 18km long 2 lane highway with widening and raising of embankment and pavement including construction of 392m long PC Girder Hazrat Shah Paran Bridge (2nd Surma Bridge) over 228 nos 750mm dia cast-in-situ bored Piles length of each 35-50m and 45.1m long PC Girder Kushi Khal Bridge over 36 nos 750mm dia cast-in-situ bored Piles length of each 25- 35m on Sylhet Town By Pass Road with 35 box and pipe culverts. It was financed by Kuwait fund for Arab Economic Development (KFAED) & executed in the year 1999-2002 at the cost of Tk. 617.04 million.
13. STJRIP-2
Sylhet-Tamabil-Jaflong Road Improvement Project (STJRIP) Contract No. 2: Haripur to Janitapur Road under RHD. The work consisted of improvement and rehabilitation of 18km long 2 lane highway with widening and raising of embankment and pavement and construction of 4.46km Sylhet Town Bypass Road from Km 6 +315 to Km 10+779 and Improvement of 4.1km Sylhet- Fenchugonj Road from Km 10+779 to Km 14+879 comprising embankment, pavement including bank protection works, construction of 40 box and pipe culverts.. It was financed by Kuwait fund for Arab Economic Development (KFAED) & executed in the year 1999-2002 at the cost of Tk. 861.51 million.

Improvement of Feeder Roads Type A, Third Road Rehabilitation and Maintenance Project (RRMP-III), Contract No. F-13: Kushtia-Poradoha-Alamdanga- Chuadanga Road (Section-2). The work includes improvement and rehabilitation of 20km road comprising embankment, pavement including Double Bituminous surface treatment work, 105m Pre-stressed Concrete Girder Bridge on 42 nos 900mm dia cast-in-situ bored Piles length of each 17-25m and 14 box culverts. It was an IDA financed Project & executed in the year 2002-2004 at the cost of Tk. 169.54 million.
15. FRIP-16
Improvement of Feeder Roads Type A, Third Road Rehabilitation and Maintenance Project (RRMP-III), Contract No. F-16: Tabunia-Atgharia-Chatmohar- Baghabari Road (Section-1). The work includes improvement and rehabilitation of 20km road comprising embankment, pavement including Double Bituminous surface treatment work, 45m Pre-stressed Concrete Girder Bridge on 20 nos 900mm dia cast-in-situ bored Piles length of each 18-20m and 35 box culverts. It was an IDA financed Project & executed in the year 2002-2004 at the cost of Tk. 178.43 million.
16. HATUBHANGA BRIDGE
225m RCC Bridge over Bangshi River at Hatubhanga on Gorai-Shakhipur Road, Mirzapur, Tangail under LGED. The work consisted of construction of bridge including approach roads, bank protection and river training. Span arrangement of bridge 11@ 20.50m, pile 72 nos, average pile length 20m each. This project was financed by Kreditanstalt für Wiederanfban (KfW), Germany & executed in the year 1999-2001 at the cost of Tk. 60.68 million.
17. FAP 21/22
Jamuna River Pilot Project, Test Site-II, FAP 21/22 at Bahadurabad, Jamalpur under Jamuna Test Work Consultants. Work includes Construction of 975m long Revetment Test Structures with river bank protection, embankment, CC Blocks, In-situ concrete using geotextile filter fabric in slope and launching apron, Incomat (Sand Flex Matress), Profix. The Project was financed by German- France Grant & executed in the year 1995-1997 at the cost of Tk. 252.23 million.
18 RRMP-II-P8
Road Rehabilitation and Maintenance Project RRMP-II, Contract No. P8: Kaligonj- Jibannagar Road & Chuadanga -Jibannagar-Dattanagar Section under RHD. The work consisted of asphaltic overlay of 71km road and other ancillary maintenance works. This was financed by IDA & executed in the year 1996- 1997 at the cost of Tk. 247.14 million.
19. SLOPE PROTECTION & RIVER TRAINING WORKS
Slope Protection and River Training Works under Jamuna Multipurpose Bridge Project with HAM-VOA (JMBA). Works includs excavation, slope trimming, embankment filling and compaction, Geotextile & rock placement, supply of 4"-8" boulders, sand etc. & other miscellaneous works. It was financed by IDA & executed in the year 1994-1996 at the cost of Tk. 201.19 million.
20. CHITTAGONG PORT ACCESS ROAD
Road Maintenance and Improvement Project (RMIP), Contract No. 4: Construction of 13.58km long Chittagong Port Access Road. The work consisted of construction of 13.58km long 2-lane road with embankment, pavement and including 3 PC Girder Bridges, 78 RCC Culverts, Pipe Culverts, Toll Plaza Building, Administrative and Sentry Building, Supply, Installation and Maintenance of Toll System etc. It was an ADB financed Project & executed in the year 2003- 2006 at the cost of Tk. 1240.25 million.
21. PERIODIC MAINTENANCE OF ROADS
Periodic Maintenance Program, Contract Nos. PMP/2000/03, PMP/2001/08, PMP 2002/06, PMP-2003-04/08 & PMP-2004-05/14 under RHD. The work includes maintenance & repair of 143Km Road with machine applied double bitumen surface treatment and or & machine applied Asphalt Overlay and ancillary works in Laxmipur-Noakhali-Feni Division, Banani-Zia Airport Road, Moinamoti- Brahmanbaria Road, Brahmanbaria-Sarail Road, Sylhet-Salutikor-Companygonj Road, Sylhet Town Portion & Rangpur-Borobari-Kurigram Road. These projects were funded by GOB & executed in the year 2000-2005 at the cost of Tk. 423.85
22. DHAKA URBAN TRANSPORT PROJECT
Dhaka Urban Transport Project, Contract Nos. A2, (W)C4B, (W)C12 & (W)C15B under DCC. Construction of 12 Steel Foot Over Bridges, Non Motorized Traffic Links, Footpaths in Dhaka City, Improvement and widening of 5 km long 4 lanes Road from Mirpur Taltala to Hotel Sonargaon via Khamar Bari Farmgate & 3.04 km long 4 and 2 lanes Hare Road, Phoenix Road and Kamal Ataturk Avenue including drain, kerb, bus-bay, footpath, median, traffic island, road sign, marking, street lighting etc. These projects were funded by WB & executed in the year 1999-2005 at the cost of Tk. 499.55 million.
23. NORTH SOUTH UNIVERSITY
Civil Works of North South University Campus Project at Bashundhara, Dhaka. The Work includes 3 floor basement Construction having area 16,000 sqm in each floor and 10 storied Academic Building-North and South, 7-Storied Administrative Building, 9 storied Library, Auditorium, Lacture theature and Open Air Theature etc. The work is supervised by Sharat Das Design Consortium, India and Worldwide Engineers Ltd. Dhaka, Bangladesh. Executing in the year 2004-2007 at the cost of Tk. 1,052.67 million.
24. CCKL
Construction of Comfit Composite Knit Limited (CCKL) building Project at Gorai, Mirzapur, Tangail including pre-stressed beam, sanitary, plumbing, internal electrification works etc. Work includes constructing 40,000sft main factory building, 25,000sft Knitting building, 17,000sft central store, 3,500sft generator building, 5,000sft canteen, 3,000sft waste godown, 3,000sft medical facilities, 2,000sft printing facilities, 3,500sft dormitory facilities, treatment facilities etc. The work is supervised by Integrated Design Consultant and Design, Planning & Management Consultant Limited. Executed in the year 2005-2007 at the cost of Tk. 245.50 million
25. MONICO-MINA TOWER
Construction of Monico-Mina Tower, a nine storied apartment building with one basement, (framed RCC Structure with Board pile foundation), area 840 sqm per floor, with car parking facility at basement and ground floor at West Agargaon, Dhaka including plumbing, sanitary and all electro-mechanical works. Executed in the year 2001-2004 at the cost of Tk. 110.01 million.
